How do I subscribe to a Crowdfunding Offer? β–Ό
Go to Browse Offers, select an offer, and review the full Crowdfunding Offer document before subscribing. Enter your amount and confirm. You must be KYC-verified. Your subscription is processed by the Subscription Agent.
What are my investment limits? β–Ό
As a Retail Investor: max KWD 1,000 per single offer and KWD 10,000 per 12-month period. Professional Investors: KWD 50,000 per 12-month period. Qualified Professional Investors (QPI) have no limits. These are set by the CMA under Module Nineteen.
Can I sell my securities before the project ends? β–Ό
No. The Capital does not operate a secondary market. Securities are illiquid and must be held for the full project duration. The only exit option is the right of withdrawal, which must be exercised within 5 Business Days of the Offer Period closing.
How do I exercise my right of withdrawal? β–Ό
Submit a written withdrawal notice within 5 Business Days after the Offer Period closes. Use the form above and select "Withdrawal Request" as the topic. Repayment is facilitated by the Subscription Agent within 2 business days of your request.
When will I receive project updates? β–Ό
At least every 6 months from the Offer Period close date, and upon any material development. Reports appear in your Documents section and you'll receive a notification automatically.
When does my KYC expire? β–Ό
Every 3 years, or immediately if your circumstances change materially. You'll be notified 90 days before expiry. Renew from your My Profile page when prompted.
Does The Capital hold my funds? β–Ό
No. All investor funds are held by a CMA-licensed Subscription Agent in an independent bank account. The Capital does not handle or have access to investor funds at any point.
